“I’ll tell you what you’re laughing at, because you don’t know enough about comedy to know.” – Stewart Lee
I am Becca Moody, a twenty-year-old from Birmingham who studies Philosophy in Cardiff.
What can you expect to see here?
I regularly write about live comedy events, television shows, podcasts, books and individual comedians (including my Comedian of the Month feature). I also frequently post interviews with comedians for my Seven Questions With… feature and with professionals behind the scenes for Ask The Expert, as well as sometimes interviewing people for other websites (including interviewing Noel Fielding for The British Comedy Guide). You may also see topical comedy-news-related articles or a revisit to old films, panel shows and television series.
MoodyComedy is a personal recommendation of content: it is not a place for negativity, nor false positivity. You can trust that opinions expressed on this website are genuine at the time of writing and not endorsed in any way. A wide range of comedy is covered on MoodyComedy, meaning that there will almost definitely be faces you recognise but you will also be introduced to people you have never heard of. I am a big supporter of small venues and alternative comedians that often slip under the radar and I pride myself upon it.
